An IRS online account allows you to find important information like your balance due, refund amounts, payment history, digital copies of select notices from the IRS and your economic impact payments. It also allows you to view and make payments, view and create payment plans, view key data from your most recent tax return and access tax records by requesting a tax transcript. 

Please Note:  The IRS requires you to verify your identity to create an account. While creating an account you will be asked to provide a driver's license, state identification or passport.
